Issues of improving the commodity structure of Russian imports

Abstract:

The author gives analysis of a current state of commodity structure of import as a whole and on separate positions - cars and the equipment, raw materials is given, to production of the chemical industry. The main strategic objectives are proved and determined by increase of efficiency
of import of the Russian Federation. In particular it is offered to realize two strategic tasks: to reduce a consumer orientation of import (it is offered to reduce or completely to stop purchase of production which doesn’t promote providing economic, including food security of the country); and to reduce import to the country of those goods which are expedient for making within the country, and to satisfy demand for them within import substitution. At the same time the offer to increase import to the country of the equipment for processing of agricultural raw materials and
foodstuff moves forward.
